In Liberia, the parents of today\u2019s junior high and high school girls lived through two civil wars that disrupted school for a generation– and left the country impoverished. Girls today, are eager to remain in school. Many are already behind due to years lost to school closures from Ebola and Covid. Then, they fall behind their male peers by being absent four or five days each month because no sanitary supplies.\u00a0<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
